Every Wednesday, Administrative Editor Jordan Breen welcomes a member of the mixed martial arts media into “Press Row” on the Sherdog.com blog. This week, Breen is joined by Sherdog.com associate editor Chris Nelson.
Breen and Nelson discuss the forthcoming fourth season of the Bellator Fighting Championships, debuting Saturday night in Lemoore, Calif. The two discuss the promotion's opportunities broadcasting on MTV2, whether or not the decision to run events on Saturday night will be fruitful, as well as the pros and cons of the company's PR and media tactics.
Also, the pair break down the favorites and dark horses in the four tournaments, discussing Bellator's slate of up-and-coming star wrestlers, who will be challenging for Bellator titles, and the man most likely to become the promotion's first light heavyweight champion.
