The Ultimate Fighting Championship will call upon one of its most trusted soldiers for its first-ever Halloween event, as former middleweight titleholder Anderson Silva takes on Uriah Hall in the UFC Fight Night 181 headliner on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Adding to the drama: the very real possibility that this could be the last time “The Spider” steps inside the Octagon.

Meanwhile, the featherweight co-main event sees Bryce Mitchell put his perfect 13-0 record on the line against Team Alpha Male mainstay Andre Fili. Mitchell, 26, has become something of a revelation since he linked arms with the UFC in 2018, progressing from under-the-radar prospect to Top 15 contender. The 30-year-old Fili has won three of his last four fights, cementing himself as a fixture in the 145-pound weight class.

As UFC Fight Night “Hall vs. Silva” approaches, a look at some of the numbers the fighters on the card have generated to this point:

11: Wins by knockout or technical knockout for Hall, accounting for 73% of his career total (15). His list of victims includes Chris Leben, Krzysztof Jotko, current two-division One Championship titleholder Aung La N Sang and former Dream, Strikeforce and Bellator MMA champion Gegard Mousasi.

3: Promotions in which Hall has competed as a professional mixed martial artist. He has gone 8-7 in the UFC, 6-2 in Ring of Combat and 1-0 in Bellator.

45: Years of age for Silva. The oldest fighter on the card, he was born on April 14, 1975 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

2,457: Days spent by Silva as the undisputed UFC middleweight champion. He ruled the 185-pound weight class from Oct. 14, 2006 to July 6, 2013. It remains the longest title reign in Ultimate Fighting Championship history.

9: Mitchell victories by submission. His methods of choice: five rear-naked chokes, two triangle chokes, one armbar and one twister.

2: Fili losses by submission. The Federal Way, Washington, native tapped to a guillotine choke from Max Holloway at UFC 172 and surrendered to a triangle choke from Godofredo Castro at UFC Fight Night 62.

140: Significant strikes by which Kevin Holland has outlanded his seven UFC opponents. Only Thiago Santos has managed to outperform him head-to-head in the category.

6: Career defeats on the Charlie Ontiveros resume, all by knockout or technical knockout. Five of them have occurred inside two rounds.

94: Combined victories between the four men—Dan Charles, Jeff Hughes, Sergei Pavlovich and Alexey Oleynik—who have defeated Maurice Greene. Fifty-nine of those wins belong to Oleynik, who submitted Greene with a second-round armbar at UFC 246.

4: Sub-minute knockouts under Greg Hardy’s belt. The former NFL star stopped Tebaris Gordon in 17 seconds, put away Juan Adams in 45 seconds, cut down Ray Jones in 53 seconds and wiped out Austen Lane in 57 seconds.

19: Lightweight champions in King of the Cage history, a distinguished group that includes Bobby Green. Other notable fighters who have struck 155-pound gold in the venerable organization: Javier Vazquez, Joe Stevenson, Mac Danzig, Rory MacDonald, Tim Means and Juan Archuleta.

25: Years of age for Thiago Moises. The youngest fighter on the card, he was born on March 23, 1995 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

.761: Cumulative winning percentage between the 24 fighters slated to compete at UFC Fight Night 181. They own a combined record of 350-109-1.
