The kind of opportunity for which Alex Martinez has long pined now stares him in the face.

Martinez—one of only four undefeated competitors on the 2021 Professional Fighters League roster with at least one victory in the organization—will square off with former Ultimate Fighting Championship and World Extreme Cagefighting titleholder Anthony Pettis in the 2021 PFL 4 headliner on June 10 at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlanta. The 27-year-old Paraguayan prospect enters the cage with an 8-0 record. Martinez made his promotional debut at PFL 1, where he laid claim to a split decision over Loik Radzhabov on April 23. The Champion Gym export has delivered six of his eight career victories by knockout, technical knockout or submission.
